The Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region IV encourages graduates of Djuanda University (UNIDA) to become an excellent generation that is resilient, adaptive, and has integrity in facing the increasingly complex dynamics of the world of work. This message was conveyed by the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum, at the 52nd Bachelor's and Postgraduate Degree Graduation Ceremony and the inauguration of UNIDA Faculty of Agriculture Professors, which was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Puri Begawan Building in Bogor.

In his presentation titled “Striving to be an Excellent Generation,” Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum, emphasized the importance of shaping a young generation that is competent, creative, innovative, and has integrity. According to him, the success of college graduates is not solely measured by their diplomas or Grade Point Average (GPA), but rather by their ability to work hard, adapt, and maintain integrity and professionalism.

“Success is not about who is the smartest, but who is the most persistent in trying,” a quote from B.J. Habibie delivered by Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum.

Furthermore, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum expressed his appreciation for UNIDA, which is currently one of 18 universities with Excellent accreditation in the West Java and Banten regions. This achievement is considered clear evidence of the improvement in the quality of higher education under the coordination of LLDIKTI Region IV West Java-Banten.

In addition to discussing global challenges such as changes in the labor market (referring to data from Cisco and Oxford Economics), Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum also emphasized the great opportunity for Indonesia to become a nation that is “Gemah Ripah Loh Jinawi” (prosperous and abundant) if its human resources are able to optimize their competence and creativity.

“Congratulations to all graduates. Today is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of steps toward achieving aspirations and serving the nation,” he said.

In closing, Dr. Lukman, S.T., M.Hum advised graduates to always appreciate their parents' prayers and their lecturers' guidance, as both are important parts of every success. UNIDA graduates are expected to bring the values of professionalism, adaptability, transformation, and realism to their careers and service to society.
