Bangi, Malaysia – The Master of Public Administration Program, Graduate School of Universitas Djuanda Bogor, conducted an International Study and collaboration exploration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), on Monday, July 13, 2026.
The visit was led by the Director of the Graduate School of Djuanda University, Prof. Dr. Henny Nuraeny, S.H., M.H., along with the Head of the Master of Public Administration Study Program, Dr. Muhamad Husein Maruapey, M.Sc., and the lecturer of the Master of Public Administration, Dr. Saprudin, M.Si.
The delegation from Djuanda University was also accompanied by 28 male and female students from the Master's Program in Public Administration. One of the participants in the event was the Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Mr. Sastra Winara, who is also enrolled as a student in the Master's Program in Public Administration at the Graduate School of Djuanda University.
The arrival of the Djuanda University delegation was welcomed directly by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Suhaimi Mohamad, Deputy Dean of Industry and Community Cooperation, and Associate Professor Dr. Azlan Abas, Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, National University of Malaysia.
The meeting took place in a warm and productive academic atmosphere. The two institutions discussed various opportunities for strategic cooperation, including the drafting of a Letter of Agreement (LoA) for academic activities and meetings, the development of scholarship programs, student exchanges, and the implementation of joint research between faculty and students from both universities.
The collaboration offered is not only intended for the Master of Public Administration Study Program but also aims to involve other study programs within the Graduate School of Djuanda University, namely the Master of Law, Master of Food Technology, Master of Islamic Education Management, Master of Management, and Master of Elementary Education.
The Director of the Graduate School of Universitas Djuanda, Prof. Dr. Henny Nuraeny, S.H., M.H., stated that this visit is part of Universitas Djuanda's commitment to strengthening the internationalization of higher education, improving the quality of the implementation of the tridharma of higher education, and opening broader opportunities for lecturers and students to gain academic experience at the international level.
Thru this collaboration, both institutions are expected to soon realize various concrete programs, such as international guest lectures, joint seminars, student and faculty exchanges, scientific publications, collaborative research, and the development of scholarship programs.
This International Study activity is an important step for the Graduate School of Djuanda University in expanding its global network and enhancing the institution's competitiveness. Collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is expected to provide sustainable benefits for the development of education, research, and community service in Indonesia and Malaysia.
