Bogor, 22 May 2026 — New students on the Doctor of Law Programme at the Djuanda University Graduate School took part in the TOEFL test and the Basic Legal Knowledge test on Friday, 22 May 2026. The event was held in Building A, the Lecture Hall of the Djuanda University Graduate School.
These activities form part of the initial academic process for new students on the Doctor of Law Programme. The TOEFL test was conducted to assess students’ English language proficiency, particularly in supporting academic activities, reviewing international literature, academic writing, and developing legal perspectives within a global context.
In addition, the Basic Legal Knowledge Test was administered to gauge students’ initial understanding of fundamental legal concepts. Through these tests, the programme can gain an overview of the students’ academic readiness to undertake doctoral-level study.
The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the Djuanda University Graduate School (Dr Ani Yumarni, S.Hi., M.H.). During the event, the testing process was also supported by the Djuanda University International Affairs Office (KUI) team, particularly in the administration of the TOEFL test.
Through this activity, the Djuanda University Doctor of Law Programme is committed to ensuring that new students possess strong academic readiness, both in terms of foreign language proficiency and a solid grasp of the fundamentals of legal scholarship. This activity also serves as the first step in fostering an academic culture that is excellent, professional, and focused on the development of competitive legal scholarship.
With the completion of this test, it is hoped that new students of the Doctor of Law Programme will be better prepared to undertake lectures, research, and the development of legal scholarship within the postgraduate school environment at Djuanda University.
