UNIDA and UHAFIZ Explore Partnership, Collaborate on Master’s Program Development

A delegation from Djuanda University (UNIDA) conducted a courtesy visit and exploratory meeting with Prof. Dr. Hafiz MPH University (UHAFIZ) Cianjur on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The visit marked an initial step toward strengthening academic collaboration, particularly in the development of master’s degree (S2) programs.

The UNIDA delegation was led by the Director of UNIDA Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Hj. Henny Nuraeny, S.H., M.H, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ani Yumarni, S.H.I., M.H as Vice Director for Non-Academic Affairs, Dr. Lina Herlina, S.Hum., M.Pd as Head of the Master of Islamic Education Management Program, Dr. Wiworo Retnadi Rias Hayu, M.Pd as Head of the Master of Elementary Education Program, Dr. Titik Tjahja Andari, Dra., M.Si as Head of the Master of Management Program, Dr. Husein Maruapey, M.Sc as Head of the Master of Public Administration Program, and Adi Rahmanur Ibnu, S.E., M.H., Ph.D as Head of the Master of Law Program at the UNIDA Graduate School.

Prof. Dr. Hj. Henny Nuraeny, S.H., M.H explained that the visit was part of efforts to build synergy in improving the quality of higher education, particularly in the implementation and development of master’s programs. According to her, collaboration among universities is a strategic step for sharing experiences, strengthening academic governance, and advancing the tridharma of higher education.

“This meeting serves as an initial step toward building more concrete collaboration. We see compatibility in academic fields at UHAFIZ that can be jointly developed, especially at the master’s degree level,” she stated.

Meanwhile, UHAFIZ Cianjur warmly welcomed the UNIDA delegation. UHAFIZ Vice Rector I, dr. Noor Sardono, M.Kes expressed appreciation for the established relationship and collaboration initiative between the two institutions. He emphasized that the partnership would play an important role in strengthening academic quality and advancing higher education development.

Similarly, UHAFIZ Vice Rector II, Siti Kamilah, S.Kep., M.Kes., Ph.D highlighted the importance of synergy in academic management and institutional strengthening. UHAFIZ Vice Rector III, Dr. Cecep S. Alamsyah, M.Kes., M.Si emphasized the significance of character development among students and improving human resource quality to support the educational process.

Chairman of the UHAFIZ Senate, Teddy Kusnandar, S.H., M.M also shared his views on the importance of collaboration among higher education institutions as a means of expanding academic networks and enhancing educational quality.

“This partnership is a strategic step toward strengthening academic quality and university governance. We hope the collaboration between UHAFIZ and UNIDA will continue to grow sustainably, particularly in the development of master’s programs and the enhancement of lecturer and student capacities,” he said.
