In the city of rain, shrouded in prayer, Bogor welcomed the birth of a daughter who would one day weave the dew of knowledge, distilll values, and carve out a life of service along the quiet path called education—a bridge of light for future generations.

On the morning of Thursday, March 4, 1971, the couple Haji Raden Memed Ahmad Soemawinata and Hajah Raden Siti Aminah named their daughter Siti Pupu Fauziah.
His academic journey began with the belief that Islamic education is the foundation of civilization.

Formal education began at Al-Muslih Islamic Kindergarten in Kaum Seseupan, Ciawi, Bogor. It continued to Ciawi 2 State Elementary School, Ciawi 1 State Junior High School, and Ciawi 1 State High School.

Higher education began with Islamic Education Management at Universitas Djuanda, an accurate choice. The journey continued: pursuing a Master's degree at Universitas Ibnu Khaldun Bogor, delving into educational management with reason, heart, and values. He even earned a doctoral degree from Pakuan University as the best graduate in 2019 – a crown of perseverance, courage in thinking, and loyalty to knowledge.

At the age of seventeen, he began imparting knowledge at Madrasah Diniyah Ar-Rahmah, then continued guiding at TK Riyadhussolihin and found a place of love at TK Amaliah. The journey led him to the university bench, teaching at Djuanda University from Bachelor's to Master's programs, and serving as a co-promoter and examiner in various Doctoral programs.

His leadership journey began as the Head of Basic and Secondary Education at YPSPIAI in 2006, then he became the Dean of FKIP (2012-2016), the General Chairman of YPSPIAI until 2020, the Executive Director, and in 2023 he was entrusted as the Rector of Djuanda University until now.

As a researcher, he believes that research is the heart of academic life. Despite being active as a leader in foundations and universities, research activities are still pursued with full dedication, in the field of guidance and counselling management, within the scope of: transformational leadership, early childhood education, and child-friendly schools. His diverse research is supported by competitive grants from Ristekdikti, BRIN, and international collaborations including the International University Malaya-Wales and Universiti Utara Malaysia, solidifying his consistent contribution to the development of science.

Community service is focused on the Bogor Regency area and its surroundings, as a manifestation of Djuanda University's concern for the nearest environment, and extends to areas such as Cianjur, Sukabumi, Bekasi, and Rangkasbitung. At the international level, this activity reaches countries such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with a focus on empowering Indonesian workers abroad thru collaboration with various partner institutions, including ASEANACA, the Indonesian Embassy, UITM, UGM, Yala University, Prince Songkla University, and the Al-hidayah Waqf Foundation.

His steps went beyond the borders of the country. He attended international forums, bringing ideas, representing Indonesia, and advocating for education rooted in values.
For his dedication, recognition came from various parties, including the American Academy of Project Management and Universiti Geomatika Malaysia. However, for him, the highest appreciation is when knowledge benefits others.
Various scientific works have been produced, including 111 publications in the form of national journals, reference books, and textbooks, including 25 Scopus-indexed articles. His research covers areas such as guidance and counselling management,

organizational culture, to character education based on monotheism, as well as the book 'Symphony of My Campus' which contains song lyrics. His works are not only read but also serve as references, because the best knowledge is that which is widely beneficial. Due to its consistency, no less than 50 Intellectual Property Rights have been obtained, including copyrights for books, written works, and song compositions.
Today, Djuanda University made history. An educator, alumnus, researcher, and leader was inaugurated as a Professor.

She is Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah Roestamy, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I. — or we call her "Mother Professor." Mother is a portrait of the dedication of a Muslim academic woman in building civilization thru education and being a role model for the younger generation.

She achieved a brilliant career and outstanding accomplishments by relying on her strength, intelligence, and compassion, as well as the love of her beloved husband, who was also her teacher, mentor, companion in her struggles, and lover: Prof. Dr. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H.

And of course, thanks to the love from my beloved children, in-laws, and grandchildren. Also, the extended families of H. R. Memed Ahmad Soemawinata and Roestam Yacoob and Nurma Djamil, who always supported him with prayers and affection.

From Bogor, for the World, and for the future generations of the nation – this is the journey of a Professor, who makes knowledge a path of worship and service.
Holding the world, to reach the afterlife.
