Kemenristekdikti once again appointed Djuanda University Bogor as the host for a three-day international scientific article writing clinic, from 14-16 September 2017 at Onih Hotel, Bogor. Research or community service activities have increased from year to year, both in quantity and quality. However, the increase is not directly proportional to the increase in the quantity and quality of scientific articles resulting from research or community service published in national and international scientific periodicals. This is then the background of Kemenristekdikti in organizing training activities for writing international scientific articles as an effort to encourage the improvement of the quality of scientific articles both in quantity and quality. Head of the Sub-Directorate for Facilitation of Scientific Publications, Aldi Haryadi in his remarks expressed the objectives and benefits of this activity. "The main purpose of organizing this activity is so that participants can improve their ability to write and publish the results of research or community service in the form of good quality scientific articles," he explained. Lecturers as implementers of the tridarma of higher education have obligations in addition to teaching and learning are also required to conduct research and community service. Currently, research results must be published in both national and international journals. The chief executive of the international scientific article writing clinic, Ginung Pratidina, revealed that it is important for lecturers to increase the number of publications. "Given the importance of publications, hopefully from the implementation of this international scientific article writing clinic, many lecturers will be motivated to penetrate international journals". He said. As the host appointed by Kemenristekdikti, Djuanda University Bogor is committed to continue to play a role in improving the quality of research results.
