A proud achievement comes from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG) at Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA). Two FAIPG UNIDA lecturers successfully earned their doctoral degrees after completing their doctoral promotion examinations at the Postgraduate School of Muhammadiyah University Jakarta (UMJ) on Monday (January 19, 2026).
The two lecturers are Dr. Abdul Kholik, M.Pd.I and Dr. Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd. Both were declared graduates of the Doctoral Program (S3) in Islamic Education Management, Postgraduate School, Muhammadiyah University Jakarta.
Dr. Abdul Kholik, M.Pd.I defended his dissertation titled “Developing a School Capacity Building Model in Creating a Child-Friendly School Climate”. Meanwhile, Dr. Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani, M.Pd defended his dissertation titled “Management of Partnerships Between Vocational High Schools and the Business and Industrial Sector (DUDIKA) in Preparing Competent Graduates”, with a multi-case study conducted at Islamic private vocational schools in Bogor Regency.
UNIDA Rector Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I expressed her appreciation for the academic accomplishment. According to her, the achievement of the two FAIPG lecturers reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing human resource quality and strengthening its academic culture.
“We extend our congratulations and pride to Dr. Abdul Kholik and Dr. Muhammad Rendi Ramdhani. This doctoral degree is not only a personal success, but also reinforces Universitas Djuanda’s academic excellence in advancing education and research,” she stated.
Similarly, FAIPG Dean Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E believes the accomplishment will positively contribute to the faculty’s development, particularly in improving the quality of the university’s pancadarma pillars.
“We hope their expertise and research findings can be implemented in institutional strengthening, innovation in Islamic education, and inspire other lecturers to continue their studies and scholarly contributions,” she remarked.
