Djuanda University (UNIDA) held an Open Senate Meeting of the Board of Professors in the context of the inauguration of Professor of Management Counselling, Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah Roestamy, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I. The inauguration ceremony took place in the Auditorium of Building C, UNIDA Campus, on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by various invited guests from government officials, academics, professors and rectors of partner universities, as well as national figures.
His dedication to education began at the age of 17 as a teacher at Madrasah Diniyah Ar-Rahmah, continuing at Riyadhussolihin Kindergarten and Amaliah Kindergarten, until becoming a lecturer at Djuanda University at the Bachelor's and Master's levels, as well as a co-promoter and examiner in various Doctoral programmes.
His academic leadership includes serving as Head of Primary and Secondary Education at YPSPIAI (2006), Dean of FKIP (2012–2016), Chairman of YPSPIAI until 2020, Executive Director, and since 2023, he has been entrusted as Rector of Djuanda University.
As a researcher, he actively develops studies on counselling management, transformational leadership, early childhood education, and child-friendly schools. His research is supported by competitive national grants and international collaborations, including with the International University Malaya-Wales and Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Community service focuses on Bogor Regency and the West Java region, and extends internationally to Hong Kong, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia through the empowerment of Indonesian workers in collaboration with various strategic partners.
Her academic achievements have been recognised through various international forums and awards, including from the American Academy of Project Management and Universiti Geomatika Malaysia. To date, she has produced 111 scientific publications, including 25 Scopus-indexed articles, dozens of reference and teaching books, and more than 50 intellectual property rights.
Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah Roestamy, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., or affectionately known as Bunda Prof., is a portrait of a Muslim female academic who has made knowledge a path of worship, service, and an example for future generations.
These achievements stem from the strength of her family, the love and support of her beloved husband, Prof. Dr. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H., as well as the support of her children, grandchildren, and extended family.
From Bogor to the world, this is the journey of a distinguished professor who holds knowledge for the benefit of humanity and the future of the nation.
