Via : Bogor-today.com BOGOR TODAY - Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) Bogor, some time ago, organized an International Symposium. The event, which was held as the first step of cooperation between UNIDA Bogor and Universiti Utara Malaysia, took place in the Postgraduate room of Djuanda University Bogor and was attended by participants from lecturers, postgraduate students and undergraduate students of UNIDA Bogor. Rector of UNIDA Bogor, Dr. Dede Kardaya, Ir., M. Si said, this event presented three speakers including, Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, SH., MH with the theme of the discussion 'The turmoil of strata title in the Indonesian legal system as a result of malcadastral', the second speaker Dr. Nuarrual Hilal Md. Dahlan. from the School of Law University Utara Malaysia with the focus of the presentation 'Strata title Act 1985 (Act 318) & Strata Management Act 2013' and the last speaker Dean of the Faculty of Economics UNIDA Bogor, Dr. Lucky H. Maulana, SE., M. Si. explained about the Determination of Cultural Values in Purchasing property. "The big theme of the International Symposium was taken and originated from UNIDA Bogor which has conducted research in this field, as well as the need to provide housing for low-income people in Indonesia seen from the practice in other countries," said Dede Kardaya. There are two aspects of the purpose of the International Symposium, the first is UNIDA is pioneering cooperation with the University of North Malaysia, the second is the difference in systems between Malaysian countries with common law while Indonesia is a civil law system and this development we can adopt or equalize with developments from the Common law side. "The hope of the International Symposium makes routine activities at the University and from postgraduate, the involvement of S2 and S1 students and lecturers is an effort to improve academic abilities, insights and increase opportunities for thesis and thesis papers for UNIDA Bogor students," added the Director of Postgraduate as well as the chief executive of the International Symposium, Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, SH, LLM.
