Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) has once again recorded a national-level achievement through the success of three of its lecturers in securing funding under the Research and Innovation for Advanced Indonesia (RIIM) Program, Competitive Scheme Wave 10, organized by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). This achievement underscores UNIDA’s commitment to strengthening the role of research as part of higher education’s contribution to national development.
The Rector of UNIDA, Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I, stated that this accomplishment reflects the increasing competitiveness of UNIDA lecturers within national research funding schemes. The research initiatives are directed toward addressing societal challenges while supporting the sustainable development agenda.
“This achievement demonstrates the capacity of UNIDA lecturers to produce research that is solution-oriented and beneficial to the public. We hope this success will further encourage the strengthening of research culture and cross-sector collaboration within UNIDA,” she said.
The recipients of the RIIM Wave 10 funding include Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, M.Pd, a lecturer in the Master’s Program of Primary Education at UNIDA Graduate School, with a research project entitled An Inclusive Primary School Model Based on School–Community Partnerships for Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost Regions (3T), focusing on strengthening inclusive education.
Another recipient is Dr. Agustina Multi Purnomo, S.P., M.Si, a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UNIDA, who proposed a research project titled A Spatial Model of the Inclusive Halal Brand Index to Strengthen Inclusive and Globally Competitive Halal Culinary Tourism in Priority Destinations.
The third recipient is Prof. Dr. Henny Nuraeny, S.H., M.H, a lecturer in the Doctor’s Program at UNIDA Graduate School, through her research entitled The Functionalization of Law against Perpetrators of Illegal Kidney Transplant Trading in Indonesia, which emphasizes law enforcement and community protection aspects.
This achievement further reinforces UNIDA’s position as a leading university actively promoting impactful research and innovation. UNIDA hopes that this accomplishment will generate broad benefits for the advancement of knowledge and contribute to national progress.
