BOGOR - In celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day, Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) organized a Funwalk or health walk at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor on Saturday (August 16, 2025). The lively event was attended by the entire UNIDA academic community, including university leaders, faculty members, staff, and students.
High Enthusiasm Among Academic Community
The event, which began at 6:00 AM, received an enthusiastic response from all members of the UNIDA community. Participants filled Pakansari Stadium wearing blue uniforms, with some wearing red to reflect UNIDA's colors and nationalistic spirit. A warm, family-like atmosphere permeated the entire route of the healthy walk, which had been meticulously prepared by the organizing committee.
“Alhamdulillah, the enthusiasm of the UNIDA community is very high. This demonstrates the spirit of unity and love for the homeland that remains deeply rooted in our campus environment,” said the Rector of Universitas Djuanda during his opening remarks at the event.
Dual Purpose: PMB and Independence Day Commemoration
This fun walk holds dual strategic significance for UNIDA. In addition to commemorating the 80th anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day, the event also serves as part of efforts to enhance the recruitment of new students (PMB) for the 2025/2026 academic year.
